We at Purity Solutions had to pleasure to work on a large property based in Torquay to clean the whole exterior of the property. From the driveway, patios, walls, conservatory, gutters, soffit's and fascia's. A total of 110 hours spent on the property.
The property had been unoccupied for the last 3 years and all the exterior surfaces had a build up of dirt and organic biofilm (such as lichens and black spot). The customer wanted us to bring this amazing property back to its former glory.
With such a large amount of work ahead of us, it was important to work in a methodical manner. We started with clearing all the debris on the site then applying herbicide (weed killer) to all the driveway and patio areas ready for pressure washing.
We then cleaned out all the guttering using our high reach gutter vacuum.
Then onto the largest part of the project, pressure washing the driveway, paths, patios and all brick walls. All the brick walls were black and covered in biofilm growths of lichens and black spot. With our on-board pressure washer, we managed to remove all the staining to bring the walls back to new. After pressure washing we applied Benz Lightning Cleanze to help remove any remaining lichens and black spot.
After all the pressure washing was completed. We then softwashed all the render on the property to remove any staining using our high reach soft washing lance.
All the soffit's, fascia's, external guttering and downpipes were cleaned using hot water from our high reach water-fed poles.
We finally cleaned the conservatory and all the windows using hot purified water from water fed poles.
A total of 110 hours were taken to clean the whole exterior of this property which we thoroughly enjoyed working on.
